Our chatbot, Beadle the Beetle, is not made with ChatGPT nor is it a large language model. Rather, BB is a rule-based chatbot, making it a guide to help walk you through the resources the library has provided to help answer your questions before sending you to our chat where you can talk with our librarians. BB searches through our databases, research guides, and FAQs and provides you with some options that may help you in your search. BB does NOT answer specific homework questions, generate unique text, or searches through our library catalog or Google. If you have a specific question or need access to a specific article/book, then chat with us librarians directly!
